The Team

The OTC currently has a full-time staff of 68 people, all dedicated to making the OTC a place of hope for those who are physically challenged. The team is managed by:

Educator and administrator with over 25 years’ experience in Ghana. Committed to improving the lives of the physically challenged and dedicated to helping each child reach their highest potential. Has been with the OTC since 1975. Responsible for the day to day management of the OTC and fundraising.

 

OTC_RaphaelMr. Raphael Amuzu Dzameshie | Assistant Director
Prosthetist/Orthotist with 30 years experience in the provision of walking aids to the physically challenged, technical director of the orthopedic workshop. Committed to the out-reach program (trek) of the OTC, started by it’s past director the late Br. Tarcisius de Ruyter svd since 1965, to bring orthopedic services to the door step of those who need them but cannot afford to travel to the centre at Nsawam.

A certified consulting engineer. Provides technical and general services with respect to planning and implementation of physical infrastructural development of the Orthopedic Training Centre. Human resource issues are also my responsibility. It is a privilege to work with the Centre in empowering persons with disabilies.
